    Description

Letting this one go from my personal collection!  Turns out I have more classical guitars than classical skills, so it's time to thin the heard a little bit.
You're looking at a rare and unique 2011 Ryoji Matsuoka D-720 classical guitar.  This guitar is simply sublime, and is beautiful in appearance and tone.  It features:
    Made in Japan
Solid cedar soundboard from the Sakurai-Kohno workshop
    Kohno Professional-J rosette
Solid Indian rosewood back and sides
    Mahogany neck
    Ebony fretboard
Rosewood binding with unique green purfling
    Gotoh tuners with perloid buttons
    Gloss finish
This guitar is in excellent condition for its age.  It shows minimal signs of wear aside from some light polishing swirls.  The frets are in excellent condition and boast a high polish for smooth playing.  The neck is straight and the action is comfortable up and down the neck.
The subtle visual details on this guitar truly make it a beautiful instrument.  The green purfling adds a colorful visual flair that isn't typically found on classical guitars.  A beautifully-done rosette really sets off the top, and grain of the cedar is narrow, straight, and evenly-spaced.  The Indian rosewood back and sides feature rich browns with purplish overtones, and it all comes together to make a stunning instrument.
The sound is equally beautiful.  It has plenty of volume, and the sound is clear and rich.  The trebles are bright without being strident, and the bass is equally full.  This is a concert-quality instrument.
These newer Ryoji Matsuoka guitars are difficult to find, and I believe Guitar Salon is the only dealer in the US.  This is truly an excellent guitar, and if I could do it justice I'd be keeping it!  As I'm not much of a classical guitarist, I'm passing along this opportunity for someone else to own and appreciate this fine instrument.
This guitar ships with in a hard shell case with matching green crushed velvet interior.
I will clean the guitar, oil the fret board, and polish the frets if you request it.
Please take a look at my other listings. I have lots of guitars, pedals and other goodies coming.
    DISCLAIMER:
I've tried to document any stand-out blemishes to the best of my ability, but there may be general use and wear marks on some of these guitars that I have not documented. PLEASE EXAMINE ALL PHOTOS AND ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING! I can take any additional photos that you like.
    Description from Guitar Salon:
One of the best Japanese mid-priced concert guitars on the market today. The “720” is the highest model in the Matsuoka line, and is made in collaboration with Sakurai-Kohno. Like the “715”, it features all-solid woods throughout, as well upgraded Gotoh tuning machines. Additionally, the soundboard itself comes from the Sakurai-Kohno workshop, and features the very same rosette seen in their famous Kohno Professional-J. It has plenty of volume, enough for any mid- to large- sized recital hall. The quality of sound is very refined – excellent clarity and separation, with a fullness and richness in the body of each note.
