We turn Iron Maiden albums into football shirts! The model A Matter Of Life And Death was inspired by the cover of the album of the same name, released by the band in 2006. As well as the work's songs, which have the theme of life and death, the shirt refers to a scenario of war and militarism – including the shades of green that are explored in the model.
Developed and approved together with Iron Maiden, the band's line of official football shirts were produced with the same quality and technology as the shirts used by major clubs around the world.
The main feature of the A Matter Of Life And Death model is war-themed, almost faithfully following the album cover. This time, Eddie appears on top of a battle tank, leading skull soldiers through a battle, in reference not only to life and death, but also to existential and ideological conflicts.
The shirt has a predominant green color, exploring the darker (or darker) tones of the cover aspects signed by Thimothy Bradstreet, who combined photorealism techniques with illustrations. The embroidered shield emphasizes Eddie's military face, characteristic of A Matter Of Lif And Death, with the inscription “Maiden F.C., making a reference that we turn every Iron Maiden studio album into a team.
The model's collar is gray in color; the cuffs of the sleeves are the same color, with details in a lighter tone (tone on tone). The gray highlighted on the shirt seeks to refer to war elements such as the weapons and the battle tank in the main illustration.
